New Business-

·       Lantern Way gate discussion – two property owners, in attendance, stated they are concerned that the gates will be locked.  The Board assured them that if it gets to that point, they will get a key or combination.

There was discussion of the width of small gate.  Jon Long assured that the opening is wide enough to accommodate most atv’s and utv’s.

·       Willis Way – Mr. Ebling spoke about the garbage on the road, on the property and in the houses at the end of the cul-de-sac and asked the Board what could be done about this.

·       Discussion on Duquette Pines boundaries and encroachment of campers, miner’s, etc.

·       Elections – Diane Cowles is the only nominee at this time.  The ballots will need to be returned by the 25th of July.  Art had previously talked about online voting.  Options were discussed: we could send the ballot through email if we have a group email put in place or enclose a stamp for property owner to return a paper ballot.  The newsletter needs to go out in August or September with the new board member announced.  The Board will get an email address specifically for voting.

·       Fence building plan was submitted from Jon Long.  Lynn Murdoch motioned to approve the plan, Scott Jackson seconded.  All ayes, motion passed.

·       Discussion on the lemonade stand at the front gate and their safety.  They will be asked to move their stand from the front gate over to the side where the snowplow turnaround is.

Old Business-

·       Subjects from the annual meeting were discussed.

·       Discussion on the atv/utv/dirt bike/vehicle usage on the trail by Bailey’s that goes out onto private property.  Jon Long stated he would like to put the chain back up, between the current posts, where it was years ago.

·       Mailboxes – Lynn gave an update.  She spoke with the postmaster.  We may need to do a box for each lot, in the mailbox cluster, as they go by street address.  Lynn will check on this further and get costs.

Next Board meeting:  Aug. 2nd, 2014 at the Boise Basin Library, Idaho City.
